Logistic Supervisor

1. Communicate with carriers/ports to support empty cont and extend close time for export shipments.

2. Check with warehouse unloading/loading capacity to inform Logistics Team to arrange plan for Im/export shipment

3. Push whse to load/unload im-export container pending

4. Deal with carrier/forwarder, trucking service to waive or reduce rate & extra cost.

5. Work with carrier/port to solve damaged container at port and get back insurance cost for damage cargo

6. Work with US to arrange space with carriers.

7. Manage container/booking on board as ETD

8. Support Logistics team/ trucking service/carrier/FWD to solve daily issue.

9. Make monthly report to manager (logistics cost saving / Logistics Metrics, forecast container…. )

10. Report Logistics status to Manager daily/ monthly (control Logistics cost, cost saving, Priority Log report, Dem/Det report….)

11. Work and solve with industrial park management for any trucking issue.

12. Work with all Depts to solve issue.(WH, Customs, HR, Pur, FA,MRO,EHS…)

13. Check quotation and comparison price for trucking, carrier, FWD with the best cost and work with Legal to make the contract with them.

14. Make SOP for Logistics process.

15. Phone call, job discussion, arrange & train job for new staff…

1.     Education

   Required – Bachelor’s Degree

2.     Experience

3-5 years’ experience in the similar position in Import/Export /Logistics.

3.     Knowledge of:

Good command of English & Computer

Good knowledge of Incoterm of im-export

4.     Skills and Abilities:

Excellent decision-making and follow-through skills

Ability to communicate with all carriers, ports, forwarders, trucking services

Skilled in conflict management and resolution

Skilled in problem solving
