Solution Architect

Roles:

To ensure technical solutions are managed, properly designed and aligned with existing MBAL’s standard processes and technology, the Solution Architect is responsible for the overall architectural design and implementation of technical solution across MBAL organization.

Responsibilities:

- Work with department heads to transform and streamline the existing business processes to improve the key performance indicators (KPI) of the company.

- Works closely with business analyst, developers, and process champions, in defining technical specification requirements, checking feasibility and designing and developing an optimal solution for data analysis, reports and tools.

 -Define the technical strategy for specific applications/platforms

- Produce and provide best practice guidelines for use of development tools and application architecture

 -Perform detailed designs for agreed changes, using prototyping tools where appropriate, taking into account fit with existing or planned architecture

 -Balance performance and scalability requirements with other quality-of-service attributes such as interoperability, security and maintainability of solutions

 -Deliver detailed architecture artefacts and outputs for a program, project or solution

- Analyze current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve

- Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates

 -Work closely with Information Technology professionals within the company to ensure hardware is available for projects and working properly

 -Propose and establish framework for necessary contributions from various departments

 -Account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources and scope

 -Work closely with project & performance management teams to successfully monitor progress of initiatives

- Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred

- Project management and leadership skills are essential

- Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures

 -Experience in software engineering and design architecture

 -Positive outlook in meeting challenges and working to a high level

- Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes

- Professional experience working with and analyzing computer hardware and software

 -Proven history of generating innovative and effective solutions
