Landscape Designers

In order to keep up with our expanding portfolio, we are looking for talents to join our design team.

Job Duties:

- Confer with clients, engineers, and building architects to understand a project
- Consult with other professionals about the design of an environment.
- Prepare proposals, site plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Coordinate the arrangement of existing and proposed land features and structures
- Select appropriate materials for use in landscape designs
- Analyze environmental reports on land conditions
- Produce detailed workings, drawings and specifications.
- Prepare tender applications and presentations.
- Negotiate with contractors and other professionals.
- Project manage and co-coordinate the work of contractors.
- Control the projects from start to finish.
- Complete regular site visits to check on progress, ensuring that the project is running on time and to budget
- Make necessary changes throughout the planning process.
- Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, colour, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.

You will need an understanding of art, including color theory, texture, balance, proportion, and more. You will also need a strong background in horticulture so that you understand which plants will work where, and why they will thrive there. You'll need to be creative, yet unafraid of working with your hands and collecting research

- Degree in Landscape Design/ Design/Architecture.
- At least 3 - 5 years of landscape and urban design experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, CAD, Dynascape
- Experience working with contractors and an awareness of the construction process.
- Strong presentation, oratory, and verbal skills.
- Able to communicate and manage team members in a clear manner.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of the
organization, including executives.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Excellent time management and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise necessary cost control measures.
- Effective leadership skills required.
