Division Purpose

The Transformation Office is responsible for execution of the bank’s transformation vision, strategy and roadmap of deliverables with a focus on digitalization of customer journeys.

The Transformation Office executes a portfolio of initiatives pre-dominantly through Agile Development (with some foundational initiatives aligned to the Waterfall project management methodology).

The Transformation Office houses expertise to support the execution of a portfolio of initiatives related to market segmentation, customer journeys, technology, data, risk management, change management, digital partnerships and capability development, a project management office amongst others.

The Transformation Office tracks and measures the progress of execution using modern portfolio management techniques (such as OKRs and TTIs) to ensure value is created for customers and the Bank.

Tribe/Function Purpose

The Innovation function will monitor the implementation of the new employee value proposition, change management and corporate culture of the Transformation Office to support the transformation agenda of the Bank.

The Innovation function will build and update processes, operational guidelines and implementation methods to ensure agile ways of working in the Transformation Office and scale up bank-wide.

The Innovation function will assess competency levels of employees in the Transformation Office and implement solutions for capability uplift through training interventions, support from internal experts and external vendors.

The Innovation function will collaborate with customer journey tribes to support resource management and business performance.

Unit Purpose

The Digital Partnership Management (DPM) unit will collaborate with customer journey tribes and other stakeholders to identify digital capability requirements to be supported by external, expert parties to support the Bank's digital transformation strategy.

The DPM unit will continuously research the market, banking and fintech communities, consumer habits, marketing and technological trends and update stakeholders.

The DPM unit will source, engage and manage strategic partner relationships for enhanced service delivery and performance.

Job Purpose

The job holder leads digital innovation for the Transformation Office and the Bank with the latest technological advancements and knowledge of market developments, new channels and technology players.

The job holder is the main contact point for securing strategic and digital partnerships to support the Bank's digital transformation capability needs.

The job holder sources, engages and builds relationships with innovative ecosystem players and maintains an updated list of potential partners.

Key Relationships

Reports to the Head of Transformation & Innovation Management

Direct reports include Digital Partnership Managers

Internal stakeholders include teams within the Transformation Office and relevant departments in the Bank

External stakeholders include partners providing professional services

RESPONSIBILITIES

Partnership Opportunities

Develop a deep understanding of the global digital / fintech landscape, key trends, players and ecosystem and strategic perspectives for the Bank.

Engage with the innovation ecosystem - universities, investors, incubators, start-ups, research facilities and fintech players to seek opportunities for disruptive products / solutions that can differentiate the Bank.

Partnership Management

Partnership Model - Design and implement the Digital Partnership model / framework aligned with business requirements for digital capability services.

Business Plan - Draw up the annual plan for services and budget for digital partnership engagement.

Partner Selection - Establish well-rounded selection criteria for delivery requirements expected of partners.

Partner Readiness - Create a comprehensive readiness plan including gap analysis of partner capabilities to identify readiness issues and support required to onboard partners.

Partner Onboarding - Manage the onboarding and full implementation of strategic partnerships with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders.

Contract & Performance Management

Assign a responsible party to manage the contractual relationship and administer the terms of the contract.

Establish and maintain roadmaps with partners to ensure continuous growth and delivery of services.

Review relationships and benefits with partners to assess if partnership is to continue, grow or stop.

Address potential partnership performance issues and consolidate lessons learned.

Managing Stakeholders

Challenge and inspire stakeholders though the ideation process with a view to differentiating the Bank.

Leverage specific situations and digital value propositions to bring digital partnerships to life and accelerate adoption.

Developing Talent

Organize and support the team in adopting and strengthening Agile ways of working in delivering value to internal customers.

Coach team members to strengthen capabilities and demonstrate the required mindset and behaviors.

Attract, motivate and retain employees across all levels for a high performance culture.

Yêu cầu công việc

Domain Expertise

8 to 12 years of relevant experience in a technology or consulting organization developing business strategies or equivalent experience

Proven track record in negotiating and bringing to success innovative commercial partnerships

Extensive market research experience

Strong experience in developing business cases and proposals

Agile / Digital Experience

Involved in digital transformation (business modelling, customer experience and innovation labs)

Experience working in Agile teams to support digital transformation projects

Qualifications

Bachelor's of Master's degree in technology, strategy or a business management discipline

Project management certification will be advantageous

Personal Attributes

Tech savvy and interested in the drivers of digital disruption from a customer and organizational perspective

Strategic thinker with digital savviness to think 'future state'

Advisory partner with a voice and point of view that adds value to the business

Highly entrepreneurial and can champion the need for digital partnerships
